'Phocaena' was built after a classic design from a yacht built for the Danish royal family. André Hoek redesigned - apart from the hull - this beautiful 'new classic' and made it a stunning eye-cather. Completely built under Lloyds in the Netherlands, she is both sturdy to take her into Artic waters as comfortably equipped to relax in deep blue waters. Still sailed by her first owner, 'Phocaena' is ready for her next trip with a new crew.

60' Hoek Design 'New Classic' Sloop, launched 1996, dim.: loa 18,20 m. (lwl 17,70 m.) x 5,10 m. x 2.60 m. built by Coops & Nieborg Shipyards, designed by Andre Hoek design (apart form hull), built in Grade A steel; keelsole 20 mm, hull 7, 6 and 5 mm (top layer) deck and superstructure 4 mm. teak deck, dark-blue full S-shaped hull, long keel, 3 Watertight compartments, displacement app. 55 tons, balllast 20 tons, fuel capacity 3.000 liters, fresh water 3.000 liters, grey water 2.500 liters, black water 650 liters, hydrailic wheel steering.

Luxorious classic teak and maple interior with accommodation for up to 9 persons in 4 cabins. Fully airconditioned (Frigobaot) and for cooler waters equipped with a Kabola heating, headroom app. 2 m., three bathrooms with Sealand Vacuflush toilets - three showers. Galley equipped with two, 90 l. fridges (24V) and one 80 l. freezer (24V), electric stove and combi Microwave/oven. Bosch dishwasher, Bosch was/dry combination, watermaker.
