Neptunus 196, ''Amelia'', built 1992 launched in 1993, by Neptunus Shipyard in the Netherlands, white GRP hull, deck and superstructure, dim: 19.80 (lwl: 18.20m) x 5.35 x 1.35m, headway approx. 6,15 m., displacement approx 32 tonnes (32,514 kg), the vessel's official number is 731611, registered tonnage: 68.31, the hull mould number is NEPT66-105. Fuel tanks: 5000 litres (1100 gallons), water tank: 1200 litres (264 gallons).

The vessel comprises of three decks, with 8 berths, 3 double and 2 single berths. The lower deck consists of a master cabin amidships, with an ensuite bathroom. A double cabin forward, with a double guest cabin to port and a twin cabin with an ensuite heads compartment in the aft of the vessel. A bathroom, including shower, for the two guest cabins is located at the base of the forward stairwell to starboard. The main deck consists of wheelhouse forward with large saloon amidships. The galley is located amidships to port with a sink, fridge and freezer, an electric/grill/microwave by Miele and electric stove, dishwasher and plenty of cupboard storage. The finish in the cabins on the lower deck is limed ash and newly installed cherry wood in the saloon and wheelhouse. Barco 240v heating, Frigo air conditioning. There is a lazarette aft with access from the deck.

Two MAN V10 turbo charged diesel engines, rated at 850hp @ 2300rpm (completely rebuilt (factory recall modification to MAN specification) with warranty in 2001). Cruising speed approximately 21 knots at 2000 rpm. Maximum speed approximately 25 knots at 2300 rpm. ZF gearboxes, 3 bladed, handed propeller. Fisher Panda 20kW/240v generator. Shore power, 7 batteries, Victron charging system (4kW/24v), bow thruster, 12Kw Bennett electro-hydraulic trim tabs with indicators.

Raytheon L125ORC Sonar + transducers, Raytheon RL80C radar (2001), Shipmate VHF (x2), Raytheon GPS, Tri-data, Autohelm compass (2001), Raytheon speed, log and echosounder with anchor alarm, Robertson AP45 autopilot, autohelm, search light+ remote control x 2, 24v horn, intercom system, rudder indicator.

4 x holding tanks, passerell (24v hydraulic), tender crane on top deck, deck shower, windlass, anchor, 4 x automatic bilge pumps, guard wires - pulpit and pushpit, warps, 8 fenders, 2 x stainless steel boarding ladders, 8 x lifejackets, 12 manual fire extinguishers and new engine room fire extinguisher system, clock, 6 xc stereo radio/cassette players, television and video recorder, new canvas around decks, 2 x paralel wipers, clock/barometer.
