Westwind was designed as a serious blue water cruiser, during construction many teak details both inside and out where applied and together with the canoe stern gives this Robert Perry design her traditional looks. The combination of heavy construction with long keel s-shaped hull give her very comfortable cruising capabilities for long distance and/or inshore leisure sailing.

Perry, grp hull, deck and superstructure, teakdeck, full bilged hull, skeg hung rudder, displacement: 9,5 tonnes, internal ballast: 3,5 tonnes, fueltank: 105 ltrs (grp), freshwatertank: 2 x 200 ltrs (s.s.), sumptank (steel), Whitlock mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Classic solid Birma teak interior, 1 cabin and saloon, 3(+3) berths, dinette, headroom approx. 1,90 mtr, 1 x u.w.toilet and shower, Dickinson diesel heater (1994), galley: electric waterpressure system, boiler hot water system (engine), Spiritus two burner gasstove with grill and oven (1998), Isotherm 12v fridge (2004) Lots of stowagespace, forward double berth has a "fill-in" piece.
