GRP sailing yacht Pearson 424 ''Miles'', built in 1978 by Pearson Yachts in Portsmouth - USA. Designed by William H. Shaw. Dim.: Loa 12.67 m x 3.95 m x 1.60 m, headway: approx. 17.00 m. GRP hull - professional osmosis treatment in 2010. GRP superstructure - laid with teak; teak deck renovated in 2010, teak in cockpit. S-shaped white hull. Displacement: approx. 10 tonnes, ballast: 3,5 tonnes. Fuel capacity: 300 litres (GRP tank - replaced in 2010). Fresh water capacity: total 570 litres in three plastic tanks. Black water tank capacity: 60 littres - installed in 2010. Edson pedestal wheel steering, emergency tiller.

Classic teak interior, saloon, front and aft cabin, 4 (+2) berths. Headroom saloon: approx 1.95 m. Webasto hot water heating system with radiators in every compartment. Hot water system through boiler (40 litres) - heated by main engine or 220 Volt AC. Electric water pressure system plus a manual foot pump in the galley. A large V-berth double cabin forward features full head height and ample hanging and storage lockers, stainless steel wash basin. This cabin can be closed off for guest privacy. The spacious saloon features two full length settee berths with lee cloths and storage behind and beneath. The U-shaped galley is situated aft of the port settee; Force 10 stainless steel three burner gas stove with oven - including remote gas switch (gas system surveyed), double deep stainless steel sinks, Frigoboat 12 V compressor driven refrigerator and a large opening deck hatch overhead for fresh air while cooking. Opposite the galley to starboard is a secondary companionway ladder to the main deck, with a generous wet locker behind. Aft of this companionway is a spacious bathroom with wash bowl, separate shower stall and a manual RM69 toilet (2010) and connected to a waste tank. Going aft from the saloon area, there is a doorway to the master aft cabin with dedicated navigation station to starboard and double berth to port. There are large storage lockers in this cabin. The excellent engine access is beneath the main companionway to the cockpit.

Yanmar 4 JH2M-TE - 62 hp diesel engine of 1997- installed in 1998 in reversed position for V-Drive, indirect cooling system, consumption: approx. 2,5 ltr/hr, Three bladed Max prop, Velvet Hydraulic Drive - type 1017002 with brake and flexible coupling. Separ fuel filter system. Bilge pumps: 2x manual + 1x electric. Electric circuit: 12 V/24 V DC/220 V AC. Batteries (3x 2008 + 3x 2003): 1x 120 Ah - start, 3x 135 Ah for 12 Volt Service and 2x 160 Ah for 160 AH 24 Volt system, shore power, earth leakage breaker, AC master control panel for monitoring: 12V/24V amp and voltage condition. Schwing BSR 5-JO retractable electric bow thruster of 5 kW. Gauges for engine revs-, temperature, oil pressure and engine hours.

Danforth Constellation magnetic pedestal compass, Autohelm 6000ST, VHF with Atis (recent), Philips AP-MK8 GPS, Lokata 1 Navtex. New navagation equipment - installed in 2010: Raymarine radar RD418HD, Raymarine C90 at the steering position, Raymarine ST60 wind set, log and dept sounder.

Sprayhood of 2008, bimini, cockpit table of teak, cockpit cushions, life jackets (2008), life lines, Simpson Lawrence electric anchor winch, 45 lbs CQR anchor with approx. 45 m. chain (10 mm - galvanized) + approx. 50 m. rope, Bruce spare anchor with chain. Two wired sea railing - replaced in 2010, boarding ladder, clock, barometer, hygrometer, temperature meter, radar reflector. Seacocks (8x) replaced in 2010.

Sloop-rigged, Hood aluminium stoway mast; painted in 2010, keel stepped / single set of spreaders, Hood Seafurl 3250 DD headsail furling system. Sails: Hood furling main sail, furling genoa (140% - of 2008), Hood furling genoa (140% of 1991), light weather furling genoa (160%), spinnaker with stripper, storm jib. Mechanical backstay adjuster, Rodkicker boom vang, Mast stowed Rondal spi pole, Andersen Linecarrier for spi pole. Lewmar winches: 2x 55 ST two speed primary sheet winches, 1x 25 two speed furling genoa winch, 2x 43 ST two speed reef and sheet winches on coach roof with a total of 9 Spinlock stoppers, 2x 40 ST two speed halyard winches on mast.
