GRP sailingyacht Contest 36A Ketch "Boelas", built in 1976 by Conyplex, The Netherlands, dim.: 10.95 (lwl 8.80) x 3.40 x 1.50 mtr, headway: approx. 16 mtr., design by Dick Zaal, GRP hull, deck and superstructure, roudlbilged hull, fin keel, rudder in skeg, perspex windows in aluminium frames, displacement: 8.1 tonnes, ballast: 3 tonnes (cast iron), fueltank: 150 ltrs, freshwatertank: 1 x 150 ltrs (other watertank aft needs to be repaired), Whitlock hydraulic wheelsteering, emergency tiller. Underwatership preventative epoxy coated (6 layers Interprotect) in 1998.
Classic mahogany interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+3) berths, headroom; 1.91 mtr, 2 x u.w.toilet, 1 x shower, Eberspaecher diesel ducted air heating (renewed), galley: electric + footpump waterpressure system, geyser hot water (gas), Eno three burner gasstove and oven (1999), Isotherm 12v fridge (renewed), seperate 220v freezer, crockery. Spacious 36 foot interior with ample stowagespace and headroom. Upholstery in saloon is recently renewed. From saloon a walk-through to the aftcabin.
