As with most Jeanneau's the Sun Fizz is no exception in performance under sail, easy handling and comfort. Her design by Philippe Briand, one of France's leading designers, is well proportioned and balanced. Looking at her accommodations, one is pleasantly surprised by sheer volume, amount of stowage space and headroom. Current owner sailed with "Gandalf" for almost 12 years and renewed a lot of equipment in the last three years.

GRP sailing yacht Jeanneau Sun Fizz "Gandalf", built in 1982 by Jeanneau in Les Herbieres - France, dim.: Loa 12,30 m (Lwl 10,20 m) x 3,85 m x 1,95 m, headway: 19,0 m, design by Philippe Briand, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, hull painted in 2002 at De Klerk in Enkhuizen (NL) International on new primer, osmoses treatment in '99, anti-fouling every year, Plexiglas windows (renewed in '03 - mounted with Sikaflex - UV protected), round bilged hull, fin keel (cast iron), displacement: 7,8 tonnes, ballast: 3,3 tonnes, fuel tank: 145 litres, fresh water tanks: 100 litres + 200 litres, Whitlock pedestal with steering wheel, emergency tiller, balanced spade rudder.
Mahogany interior, saloon + three cabins and two pilot berth's in saloon, total 8 (+3) berths, upholstery complete yacht renewed in '04, two marine heads with own manual RS60 toilet of '02, shower (one with warm/cold water and one with only cold water) with electric pump, Webasto heating of '02, hot water trough boiler (40 litres), galley with double sink s/s, fridge with small freeze compartment of '03, two burner gas stove with grill/oven of '03, extractor and crockery.
Perkins 4.108 4cyl. 47hp diesel engine of '82, overhauled in '02 (approx. 160 hours), engine control system renewed in '04, indirect cooling system, cruising speed: approx. 6 knots, maximum speed: approx. 8 knots, three bladed propeller, propeller shaft s/s - oil lubricated, two bilge pumps, electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries of '03: engine: 1x 105 Ah + service total 420 Ah, generator 70 Ah, shore power, Mastervolt 25/40 automatic battery charger '03, invertor: 12/220V 1000 W.
