The Jeanneau Espace 1000 is a good example of some of the great yachts Jeanneau have built over the years. Spacious and comfortable and a joy to sail, complete with a hydraulic centre board keel (1,22/2,33 m). The result is a performance cruiser with good accommodation and stowage space below decks and a large enough cockpit to sail safely and comfortably. She needs cosmetic attention.

GRP sailing yacht, Jeanneau Espace 1000 "Jasona", built in 1982 by Jeanneau in France, dim.: Loa 10,65 m (Lwl 10,15 m) x 3,65 m x 1,22 - 2,33 m (centreboard keel), headway: approx. 12,00 m, designed by Philippe Briand, construction: hand laid GRP hull, Balsa sandwich deck, anti slip covering ('89), round bilged off-white hull, hydraulic centreboard keel, displacement: approx. 5,7 tonnes, ballast: approx. 2,04 tonnes, fuel capacity: 200 litres (s.s. tank) + 20 litres (PVC), fresh water tank: 250 litres (s.s. tank), wheel steering + engine control in- and out side (inside: hydraulic steering, outside: cable steering).
Classic teak interior, deck saloon with two double cabins, 4 (+3 in saloon) berths, headroom: approx. 1,86 m, large hatch in owners cabin, marine head with wash bowl, shower and a Jabsco manual under water toilet, hot water through boiler (runs on engine and 220V), electric water pressure system (Jabsco pump), manual outside water pump, galley with double sink, 12V fridge of 2004, two burner gas stove with oven, crockery and cutlery, Table top washing machine (220V).
Beta Marine BV 1903 (marinised Kubota) 43 hp diesel engine - installed in 1996 - approx. 1400 engine hours, Hurth HBW 125 gearbox 2:1, engine control inside and outside, fuel/water separator with extra fuel filter, indirect cooling system, cruising speed: 5/6 knots @ 1.500/2.000 RPM, maximum speed: 7+ knots @ 2.900 RPM, Phosphor bronze propeller, propeller shaft in cutlass bearing, electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries: 1x 74 Ah of 2007 + 1x 120 Ah of 2003, shore power with earth leakage breaker, battery charger of 2002.
Compass in- and outside (outside one needs service), echo sounder in- and outside, Nasa Target log, Nasa Target wind set, VHF (no Atis), Autohelm autopilot, stereo with CD-player.
Bimini, two sun awnings (over boom), hand held search light, 6 persons XM Yachting 6/TT life raft of 12/96 - last inspection in Aug. 2002, Suzuki 2 hp outboard, two wired rail, two life jackets + 4 safety harnesses, life line, Dan buoy, electric anchor winch, approx. 30 m anchor chain + 40 m mooring warp, CQR + Fishermans anchor, boarding ladder s.s., deck shower, gang way, two window ventilators + wipers, spare parts and tools, clock and barometer, cash box (small safe).
Sloop rig, Francespar aluminium mast, standing rig of s.s. - replaced in 2001, Profurl headsail furling system - replaced in 2000, main sail, genoa (replaced in 2000), jib, storm jib, cruising chute, sail cover, Lewmar sheet winches - dual speed /self tailing, Lewmar self tailing halyard winches, telescope genoa pole.
