Steel ketch 42' sailing yacht, "Maverick", built in 1995 by Metal Boat Company of London in Great Britain. Design by Thomas E. Colvin of Alva Florida - USA. Steel hull (6mm), deck (6 mm) and coach roof (Lloyds Grade A 43a plate), complete hull in- and outside grit blasted, outside epoxy international painted, inside isolated with spray foam till 1/2 M. under waterline, collision bulkheads fore and aft, long box keel. Dim.: Lod 13,50 m (Loa 16,80 m) x 3,75 m x 1,40 m, displacement: approx.: 15 tonnes, fuel capacity: 2x 240 litres (port and starboard) + 1x 50 litres (keel), fresh water capacity: 2x 220 litres steel tanks,holding tank (in keel) for 75 litres black water with deck pump out connection and Whale manual pump out, holding tank (in keel) for 75 litres grey water with large Whale pump out. Whitlock "Constellation" wheel steering - chain and wire connection to quadrant, emergency tiller. After exploring the deep blue, she is now in our sales marina, all prepared for her next voyage.

The interior joinery is cedar, light oak and beech. Spacious saloon, separate cabin with double berth, single berth and pilot berth, total 7 berths. All upholstery and covers renewed in 2000. Marine head forward with Blakes Victory marine toilet, wash basin and small bath/shower. Living area with a drop leaf table, seating 8/9 persons. A bench (berth) on port and starboard side, with two extra pilot berths above. Single berth on portside with chart stowage. Galley on starboard with Force 10 three burner gas stove (gas safety valve) with oven and grill, Frigomatic water cooled electric fridge (12V), double sink, hot (of engine)and cold pressurised water, sea water galley pump. Taylors 079 paraffin heater. Panasonic stereo with CD-player, Separate cabin on port side with double berth, Navigation corner.

Perkins M65 (4165) 65 hp diesel engine - new installed in 1998/99 (full service record), Hurth HBW 250 1,88:1 gearbox (1999), Varioprop three bladed feathering propeller (19x14 - of 1999) on a 1,25" stainless steel shaft (1998), Perkins worldwide spareset , 4x 6V Domestic gel batteries, total 360 a/hr of 2001, 1x 12v/75 Ah engine battery, electric circuit: 12/240 V, shore power, battery charger, 2x solar panels of 75 watts each - fixed installation above cockpit bimini, regulator. Whale manual bilge pumps (3x) + 1x electric bilge pump, fire extinguishers of 2003 (must be inspected). By ca 6 knots engine only uses approx 2,5 Litre diesel an hour.

C-Plath compass, Stowe log, Nasa depth and wind instruments (2007), Raymarine autopilot ST6000+, Raytheon 200 VHF (no Atis), ICOM PCR1000 weather fax, Grundig SSB receiver, Philips GPS, Nasa Nav Text. Raytheon ST60 multifunction repeater in cockpit.

Lofrans electric anchor windlass of 1200 watt with remote control (2005), 30 kg Bruce main anchor with 80 metres anchor chain of 10 mm (2005). 20 kg CQR anchor, 35 kg fisherman’s anchor, 80 metres anchor chain of 10 mm (2005), sea anchor, anchor locker, main and mizzen boom deck awnings, fixed bimini, boarding ladder (stainless steel), sailing dinghy + 3,5 hp Tohatsu outboard, Lifeguard 6 persons life raft in canister (must be inspected).

Bahamian rig, wooden spars, spars stripped +12 new coats varnish (2004/2007), standing rigging renewed by Spencer (2004), sails by Quantum; main sail (2002), mizzen (2002), fore sail (2002), all sails self tacking, slab reefing (2002), sails by James Lawrence (1994); mizzen stay sail, try sail, storm jib including inner forestay and halyard, sail covers (2005).
