The Friendship 33 needs no further introduction; this still popular sailing yacht can perfectly be used for family cruising. "Volupia" was built by Meyer in Balk, the famous Friendship yard old style. She offers a well balanced interior with a high quality finish. The Volvo Penta 2003 engine is overhauled in 2002.

GRP sailing yacht Friendship 33 "Volupia", built in 1989 by Jachtwerf Meijer in Balk - Holland, dim.: Loa 10,10 m (Lwl 8,30 m) x 3,34 m x 1,75 m, design by Van de Stadt & Partners, headway: 15,50 m (without antenna), GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak on cockpit seats, Perspex windows in aluminium framing, round bilged hull, off white hull with grey striping, fin keel, balanced spade rudder, displacement: 4,3 tonnes, ballast: 1,7 tonnes (cast iron), fuel capacity: approx. 50 litres, (stainless steel tank), fresh water capacity: approx. 100 litres (Plastic tank), Whitlock mechanical wheel steering, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, saloon + front cabin + aft cabin, 4 (+3 in saloon) berths, headroom saloon: approx. 1,85 m, Webasto heating (never used), Tefal electric heater, marine head with wash bowl, shower and manual under water toilet, electric water pressure system, hot water through boiler (runs on engine/220V), galley with double stainless steel sinks, cool box and three burner gas stove with oven, radio/CD player.
Volvo Penta 2003 - 3 cylinder 28 hp diesel engine - overhauled in 2002 (approx. 100 engine hours) sail drive, mechanical gearbox, two bladed folding propeller (bronze - of '03), electric and manual bilge pump, electric circuit: 12V/220V, 1x start + 1x service battery, shore power with earth leakage breaker, battery charger.
Compass, Raymarine ST40 bidata: echo sounder and log, Raymarine ST40 wind set, Shipmate RS 8000 VHF (Atis?), Autohelm 4000 ST auto pilot, hand held GPS.
Sprayhood ('03), cockpit cover ('03), winter cockpit cover, cockpit table, boarding ladder (stainless steel), two life jackets, safety buoy, safety lines, aluminium anchor with line, clock, thermo and barometer, radar reflector.
Sloop rigged, Seldén aluminium mast, Harken head sail furling system, De Vries Sails: storm jib, jib, genoa and battened main sail, Frederiksen batten system with Rutgerson tensioners '03, main sail cover and cover for genoa, spi pole, four winches + one extra winch on mast, backstay adjuster, Easykick boom vang.
