Neptunus 196, ''AMELIA'', built in 1992 and launched in 1993 by Neptunus Shipyard - Aalst, The Netherlands, white GRP hull, GRP decks, teak decks, and GRP superstructures, dim: 19.80 (lwl: 18.20m) x 5.35 x 1.35m, headway approx. 6,15 m., displacement approx. 32 tonnes, Capacity fuel tanks: approx. 5000 litres (1100 gallons), capacity water tank: approx.1200 litres (264 gallons). Hydraulic steering system, second steering position on fly-bridge.

The vessel comprises of three decks, the upper deck, the main deck and a lower deck, 4 cabins with 8 berths, 3 double and 2 single berths. The upper deck shows a large steering position. This spacious deck also provides a roomy and comfortable settee. The main deck consists of a wheelhouse forward, galley and large saloon amidships. Saloon with settee, second settee opposite. Interior finished with cherry wood. The lower deck consists of a master cabin amidships, a double cabin forward, a double guest cabin on port and a twin cabin in the aftship. Interior finished with limed ash. Also located on the lower deck, but with her own entrance, is the engine room. The galley, on the main deck amidships to port, is equipped with 2 worktops and a sink, Ceran cooker, Siemens fridge with freezer inside,(2nd fridge in saloon), Miele electric/grill /oven, Siemens dishwasher and plenty of cupboard storage. Roomy master cabin with an ensuite bathroom. Bathroom with washbowl and luxery top, shower and electric toilet. Forward guestcabin with French bed, second guestcabin with double berth. Second bathroom, located at the base of the forward stairs, with luxery top and washbowl, shower and electric toilet. A twin cabin with an ensuite heads compartment is located in the aft ship. Heating by Barco 240V, Frigo air conditioning(air condensor needs to be replaced).

Twin MAN V10 turbo charged diesel engines, rated at 850hp @ 2300rpm (completely rebuilt - factory recall modification to MAN specification- in 2001). Cruising speed approximately 21 knots at 2000 rpm. Maximum speed approximately 25 knots at 2300 rpm. ZF gearboxes, 3 bladed, handed propeller. Fisher Panda 20kW/240v generator. Shore power, 7 batteries, Victron charging system (4kW/24V), bow thruster, 12kW Bennett electro-hydraulic trim tabs with indicators, automatic bilgepumps.

Raytheon L125ORC Fishfinder, Raytheon RL80C radar (2001), Shipmate VHF (x2), anchor alarm, Robertson AP45 auto pilot, search light with remote control, horn, intercom system, rudder indicator. Instruments on Fly-bridge: Raytheon ST 60; depth, speed and log, Raytheon ST 60; compass and rudder indicator, Shipmate VHF, 2 x Raytheon RC 530 chartplotter.

Passerell (24V hydraulic), tender crane on top deck, deck shower, Simpson-Lawrence electric windlass with capstan, anchor and chain, fenders, 2 x stainless steel boarding ladders, 8 x lifejackets, 12 manual fire extinguishers and engine room fire extinguisher system, clock, 6 x stereo radio/cassette players, flatscreen television and video recorder, stainless steel deckfittings, new canvas around decks, 2 x paralel wipers, clock/barometer.
