The Jeanneau Espace 990 is a good example of some of the great yachts Jeanneau have built over the years. Spacious and comfortable and a joy to sail, complete with a hydraulic centre board keel (1,15/2,10 m). The result is a performance cruiser with good accommodation and stowage space below decks and a large enough cockpit to sail safely and comfortably.

GRP sailing yacht, Jeanneau Espace 990 Decksaloon "Paloma", built in 1986 by Jeanneau in France, design by Phillipe Briand, dim.: Loa 10,35 m (Lod 9,90 m/Lwl 8,44 m) x 3,40 x 1,15/2,10 m, headway: approx. 13,70 m (with antenna: approx. 15,0 m), headway without mast: approx. 2,00 m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, deck with anti-slip profile, Plexiglas windows, round bilged hull, centre board keel, fuel tank capacity: approx. 150 litres, fresh water capacity: approx. 160 litres, displacement: 4,9 tonnes, ballast: 2,088 tonnes. Inside hydraulic and out site mechanical wheel steering. Every winter inside on shore (1987/2009).
Classic teak interior, decksaloon, front and aft cabin, 4 (+2) berths, Webasto HL24 hot air heating ('03).
Cosy decksaloon with U-shaped settee to port side, saloon table converts to double berth, light and comfortable, large window area.
Inner helm station with wheel steering on starboard site.
Galley with sink with fresh water tap, Eno two burner gas cooker with oven, top opening cool box with element, storage.
Forward cabin with V-shaped berth, storage under and wardrobe.
Aft cabin with double berth, storage, opening port hole to cockpit.
Marine head with wash basin, RM69 manual under water toilet.
Perkins 4.108 - 49 hp diesel engine, approx. 2.500 engine hours, Hurth HBW 10 2R gearbox, intercooling system, Morse engine control system.
Propeller shaft with water lock - renewed in 2003.
Electric circuit: 12V/220, shore power, Calira LG 727 automatic battery charger, + 1x Wilco 12V/105 amp battery - maintenance free + 1x Delphi 12V/102 amp. battery.
Plastimo compass, Raymarine ST 50 tridata: depth/speed and trip, Autohelm wind meter: speed/direction and close hauled (must be checked), Navacom 80 VHF with extra speaker in cockpit, GPS system: Leica / Philips AP navigator MK9 GPS-D in cockpit, Duo control with remote control in cockpit, Autohelm 5000 autopilot (must be checked), Philips stereo with cassette.

Sloop rigged, Z-Spar aluminium mast and boom, stainless steel rigging, head sail furling system.
Sails: main sail (19,35 m2), furling genoa (35,15 m2), Half winder, High Aspect.
Winches: 2x 43 ST two speed in cockpit + 1 small winch in cockpit, 1x 30 two speed + 1x 16 two speed on mast. Easykick boomvang, backstay adjuster.
