Friendship 38 " Zeeeend", built in 1991 by Friendship Jachtbouw B.V. in Balk - Holland, designed by Jac. de Ridder, dim.: approx. 11.57 m (Lwl 9.45 m) x 3.63 m x 1.98 m, headway: approx. 16.15 m, sandwich hull with Divinicell core laminated longitudinal and cross panels, GRP superstructure, sandwich deck with Balsa core, hull has been painted by Klaver in '97, preventive osmosis treatment in '97, round bilged hull, fin keel, balanced spade rudder, displacement approx. 6.75 tonnes, ballast approx. 2.5 tonnes, fuel tank: approx. 100 litres (s.s.), two fresh water tanks: approx. 175 litres, Whitlock wheel steering ('97), emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, saloon with two aft cabins and large sails storage in front, 6(+3) berths, headroom approx. 1.90 m, bathroom with wash bowl, manual u.w. toilet and shower, Webasto hot air heating, boiler hot water system (engine), galley with two sinks, three burner gas stove, gas lockers, crockery for 8 persons, Isotherm 12v fridge.
Volvo Penta 2003 28hp (20Kw) 3 cylinder diesel engine, mechanical gearbox, indirect cooling system, cruising speed: approx. 6.5 knots, consumption: approx. 3 ltrs/hr, s.s. propeller shaft, Gori two bladed folding propeller, 1 x 55amp battery ('99) / 2 x 108amp batteries ('99), Mastervolt battery charger and shore power ('99).
