De Valk central agent

De Valk International has been elected as central (exclusive) charter agents for the 34.70-metre Explorer 114 My Issue. She was built by Moonen Shipyards to the highest standards of Dutch craftsmanship in 2006 for a repeat client. The owner wanted to sail the world in the highest standards of comfort and safety… Now charter guests can reap the benefits of his rich experience and profound understanding of the luxury cruising lifestyle.

My Issue is a full displacement motoryacht with high-tech facilities that live up to her Explorer name tag. Examples include a sophisticated radar system that shows up even the smallest buoys and an integrated weather finder to ensure the yacht never gets caught in a storm. Charter clients will be delighted that the yacht only consumes 110 litres of fuel per hour at nine knots. My Issue is also exceptionally quiet and seakindly, making her a pleasure to sail at all times.

The comfort levels onboard are hugely impressive, with a wide choice of indoor/outdoor dining and entertaining options. The sundeck has a hot tub, wet bar and food dumbwaiter serving all decks. The mast is topped by a grand crow’s nest ideal for whale watching, reef spotting or enjoying a champagne sunset. The wheelhouse includes a settee for viewing the great outdoors. And the cosy bridge deck lounge is connected via a sliding glass door to the glass-enclosable aft deck with overhead heaters.

The main stateroom includes an office and large bathroom, and offers splendid views through full-height vertical windows. Four double guest suites below are separated by a structural bulkhead from the crew quarters, assuring absolute privacy for all. The very latest audio-visual and Internet options are available in all cabins. And outdoor activities are equally well catered for, with a wealth of watersports options. The custom six-metre tender is the ideal way to head ashore.

“We were bombarded with enquiries from the moment we added My Issue to our books,” says Lucy Ritchie, Charter Manager at De Valk International in Antibes. “Her charter calendar is filling up quickly and the yacht will spend most of the summer season around the Greek isles and heading back to the Cote d'Azur around September. This is a great opportunity to experience the chartering lifestyle at its finest.”
