Chantiers Wauquiez have succeeded in creating a very pleasing decksaloon yacht with the 40 and 43 Pilot Saloon. With her ample accommodations, headroom and stowayge space, the 40PS offers much more cruisingcomfort than many others in her class. The two seperate cabins (aft cabin with centreline double berth) with ensuite head andshower offer privacy and comfort. Easily handled with furling sails and bowthruster.

GRP sailingyacht Wauquiez 40 Pilotsaloon, built in 2001 (commissioned 2002) by Chantiers Wauquiez France, dim.: 12.70 (lwl 11,03) x 4,04 x 2,00 mtrs, design by Berret/Racoupeau, CE Cat A, headway: 17,50 mtrs, grp hull, deck and superstructure, teakdecks, teak in cockpit, heavy duty teak rubbingstrake, opening portholes and deckhatches, windows in aluminium frames, displacement: 10 tonnes, ballast: 3,2 tonnes (lead), fueltank: 220 ltrs, freshwatertank: 440 ltrs (polythylene, in two tanks), sumptank, Whitlock mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.

Classic Birma honey coloured teak interior, ownerscabin aft with centreline double berth and ensuite u.w.toilet and seperate shower, forward guestcabin with V-berth and ensuite shower and u.w.toilet, total berths 4(+1), midships the saloon with U-shaped settee and panoramic view of the surroundings, interior heating by Webasto diesel ducted hot air heater, galley with electric waterpressure system and double s.s. sinks, boiler hot water system (220v/engine), Eno two burner gasstove with oven, Coolmatic front-loading fridge with freezer compartment, ample storage throughout, headroom: 1,90 mtrs, etc.

Plastimo pedestal compass, Raytheon ST60 Tridata log/echosounder, Raytheon ST60 windset (defect), Raytheon ST60 Multi-display, Raytheon ST6000+ autopilot with remote-control, Garmin Fishfinder, Reaytheon RN300 GPS, Shipmate RS8300 VHF (with cockpit connection and speaker), Furuno NX300 Navtex receiver (video), Philips LCD colour TV (with antenna) combined with 12v Windows XP software personal computer with cd rewriter combined with FT Navvision electronic charts and gps interface, anchor alert with remote cellphone alarm messaging for optimum security.
