Built and equipped for long distance cruising, this excellent Caribbean 40 is very suitable for family cruising. Nice and spacious interior, lots of stowagespace, easily handled by a small crew. Her small forward triangle and full batten main with Lazy Jacks. ensure excellent sailingperformance.

Epoxy woodcore sailingyacht V/d Stadt 40 Caribbean ''Syrah'', hull built in 1991, then stopped for a few years and restarted in 1998, finished in 2001and launched in 2001, dim.: 12.00 (lwl 9.50) x 3.90 x 2.00 m., design by van de Stadt & Partners, headway: approx. 19,50 mtrs, wood epoxy hull deck and superstructure, Light yellow colour with blue striping, hardened glass windows in alum. framing, roundbilged hull, wingkeel, displacement: 9.5 tons, ballast: 3.5 tons lead, fueltank: 1 x 200 and 1 x 100 3 x 150 watertank all hull integrated, 1 x 200 ltrs sumptank, Edson mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Modern oak interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, dinette, headroom: 1,90 mtrs, manual toilet, shower, deck shower, large u shaped galley with double sink and sliding spicery drawer, stainless Force-Ten 4- burner gas stove with oven, electric waterpressure system, Hot watr via a 40 liter boiler heated by main engine, Coolmatic 24 volt refrigerator, crockery.
Peugot 30 hp (22 Kw) diesel engine, engine installed in 1999 first used in 2001, approx. 500 runninghours, indirect coolingsystem, mechanical gearbox, stainless steel propelor shaft, three bladed folding Volvo propeller, 1 x electr.+ 1 x manual bilgepump, 12/24/220v electrical system, 5 batteries, shorepower with earthswitch, Mastervolt 25 Ah. automatic batterycharger.
Ritchie magnetic pedestal compass, Autohelm ST50 and ST 60 instruments containing log, echosounder and windset with close hauld and multi (2x), VHF , Raytheon radar, raytheon autopilot, Raytheon GPS, Raytheon plotter, navtex reciever, Sony radio md player with cd exchanger and with speakers in salon and cockpit.
