Based upon the beautiful lines of the Royal Danish yacht "Vesta", her designers created a fine combination of excellent sailing characteristics, comfort and classic style. Some of these yachts were built for different purposes. "Zeearend" is certainly in comparison, one of the better examples of high quality Dutch yachtbuilding craftsmanship.

Steel full bilged sailingyacht Colin Archer "Zeearend", built in 1988 by GM Yachting Stellendam and Dörr Yachtinteriors, The Netherlands, dim.: 20,50 (lwl 17,15) x 5,00 x 2,70 mtrs, headway above waterline: 23 mtrs, currently under Dutch Shipping Inspection class and Solas class, steel full bilged hull, decks and superstructure, full bilged keel, skeg hung rudder, displacement: approx. 55 tonnes, fueltanks: 1 x 1100/1 x 900 ltrs, freshwatertanks: 1 x 1950 / 1 x 650 ltrs, sumptanks: 2 x 500 ltrs, wheelsteering (hydraulic) with emergency tiller. The cockpit has teak covering.

Classic sumptuous teak interior, 4 double cabins with separate double crewcabin forward, large owners stateroom for and aft with ensuite facilities, two double guestcabins amidships with ensuite facilities. Headroom 2.10 + mtr throughout and ample stowage space. Galley equipped with amenities; Force 10 four burner gasstove and oven, electric waterpressure, 80 ltr boyler/calorifier (220v-engine), 2 x 24v Frigoboat fridge, 24v Frigoboat freezer, Blue Air extractor, Eumania Sparmeister 802 washer/dryer, vacuumcleaner, coffee broiler, crockery, etc, etc. The interior is well heated with a Webasto diesel central heating and ample ventilation.

Sprayhood, sunawning (2x), searchlight, 2 x 6 persons liferaft (last inspected 2004), Jin A-380 inflatable dinghy, Johnson 25 hp outboard (2000), a complete set of safety equipment with lifejackets, harness', flares, etc. Titan B 2000 watt electric windlass with capstan, CQR anchor with 100 mtr chain, sternanchor with 15 mtr chain/100 mtr line, boardingladder, gangway, safe, deckshower, fenders, warps, radar reflector, fire fighting equipment, cockpit table, cockpit cushions, etc. An abundance of spares, tools, equipment is supplied with the yacht. The hull has been re-sprayed in 2004 and topsides in 2001. She has been skipper maintained.

Ketch-cutter-rigged, aluminium masts with s.s. standing rigging, twin Profurl headsail furlers, some standing rigging renewed, 8 sails (all 1998-99-00): main / mizzen / 2 x jib / yankee / mizzen staysail / 2 x booster with squeezer, covers for main and mizzen, Lazy Jacks, mechanical boomvang for main, 2 x Rondal whisker pole, 2 x 65cst primary sheetwinches / 2 x 56cst secondary sheetwinches, ample winches on deck and masts for easy handling and managing the rig. All winches by Lewmar.
