The First 305 is a redesign of the successfully 30E; the designers changed the hull lines aft, increased appreciably the freeboard, redesigned internal spaces and a few centimetres were added to the waterline length and headroom: this fast and lively sailor is yet incredibly easy to handle, thanks to her well thought-out deck plan and offers more spacious living quarters than you might expect under 10 metres. Her two separate cabins offer already the privacy you want on a nowadays-yacht.

General
GRP sailingyacht Beneteau First 305, built in 1985 by Beneteau in France, dim.: Loa 9,80 m (Lwl 8,20 m) x 3,25 m x 1,75 m, designed by Jean Berrot, GRP white hull, deck and superstructure, teak in cockpit, perspex tinted windows, roundbilged white hull with fin keel and spade rudder, displacement: approx. 3,6 tonnes, ballast: 1.35 tonnes, fuel tank (Inox): 25 litres, fresh water tank: 150 litres (flexible - of '02), tiller steering. Full survey has been done (02-2004), hull has been found with osmosis.
Classic interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 4 berths + 2 in saloon, headroom saloon: 1,80 m, headroom under hatch: 1,90 m, heads with wash basin and PAR Brydon manual under water toilet of '01, Webasto heating (new '04), L-shaped galley with Isotherm fridge, double stainless steel sink, water pressure by foot pump, Eno two burner stove with oven.
Volvo 2002 18 hp/13 kW diesel engine, mechanical gearbox, Morse engine control system, propeller shaft stainless steel, two bladed propeller, consumption: approx. 2,5 ltr/hr, manual bilge pump, 12V/ 220V electrical system, two batteries, 25 Ah automatic battery charger, shore power.
