The First 305 is a redesign of the successfully 30E; the designers changed the hull lines aft, increased appreciably the freeboard, redesigned internal spaces and a few centimetres were added to the waterline length and headroom: this fast and lively sailor is yet incredibly easy to handle, thanks to her well thought-out deck plan and offers more spacious living quarters than you might expect under 10 metres. Her two separate cabins offer already the privacy you want on a nowadays-yacht.

GRP sailingyacht Beneteau First 305, built in 1985 by Beneteau in France, dim.: Loa 9,80 m (Lwl 8,20 m) x 3,25 m x 1,75 m, designed by Jean Berrot, GRP white hull, deck and superstructure, teak in cockpit, perspex tinted windows, roundbilged white hull with fin keel and spade rudder, displacement: approx. 3,6 tonnes, ballast: 1.35 tonnes, fuel tank (Inox): 25 litres, fresh water tank: 150 litres (flexible - of '02), tiller steering. Full survey has been done (02-2004), hull has been found with osmosis.
Classic interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 4 berths + 2 in saloon, headroom saloon: 1,80 m, headroom under hatch: 1,90 m, heads with wash basin and PAR Brydon manual under water toilet of '01, Webasto heating (new '04), L-shaped galley with Isotherm fridge, double stainless steel sink, water pressure by foot pump, Eno two burner stove with oven.
Volvo 2002 18 hp/13 kW diesel engine, mechanical gearbox, Morse engine control system, propeller shaft stainless steel, two bladed propeller, consumption: approx. 2,5 ltr/hr, manual bilge pump, 12V/ 220V electrical system, two batteries, 25 Ah automatic battery charger, shore power.
Plastimo compass, separate clocks from Autohelm ST30 ( '99): depth/ log/ wind, Shipmate RS8300 VHF with ATIS and GMDSS ('98), Apelco GPS, Autohelm ST2000 autopilot, Nasa Target Navtex Pro ('98), Panasonic radio with CD player.
Sprayhood, two anchors (12 kg + 10 kg) with chain and rope, bathing platform , boarding ladder, two wired stainless steel sea railing, cockpit table, tri-colour masthead light, teak bookshelf and glass holders.
Sloop rigged, aluminium anodised mast and boom, stainless steel fittings, Furlex headsail furling system, genoa, main sail and halfwinder, sail covers, slab hook reefing system, tackle boomvang, two Lewmar sheet winches + three Lewmar winches (halyard + reef), spi-pole.
