Broker's comments
Nice Dutch built motorsailer with accommodation for 5 to 7 persons. Equipped with central heating and generator she will also make longer stays on board possible. The DAF 575 engine overhauled in 2002 (less than 255 engine hours).

Steel motorsailer, Skagerak 42 Ketch "Albatros". built in 1976 by Van der Vlis in Harlingen - Holland, dim.: 12,50 m (Loa 14,00 m) x 3,65 m x 1,70 m, head way: 13,50 m, steel hull (6 mm / 2001), steel deck, teak deck (needs attention), superstructure of teak, hardened glass windows in aluminium frame, round bilged hull, long keel, displacement: approx. 20 tonnes, fuel tanks s/s: 2x approx. 600 litres, fresh water tank: approx. 1.000 litres (steel - coated), sump tank: 75 litres (steel), hydraulic wheel steering, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, wheel house with nice settee, dinette, front cabin, large aft cabin, 2+3 (+2 on dinette) berths, head room: approx. 1,95 m, Webasto 10 Kw central heating (paraffin), electric water pressure system, hot water through geyser, galley with sink, fridge, three burner gas stove with oven and grill, marine head with wash basin, shower and a Rheinstrom pump toilet.
DAF 5785 105 hp diesel engine of 1975, after the revision in 2002 approx. 255 engine hours, closed cooling system, three bladed bronze propeller, propeller shaft s/s - water lubricated, dry exhaust, cruising speed: approx. 6,5 knots, maximum speed: approx. 8 knots, Borg Warner mechanical gear box, hydraulic bow thruster of 6 kW, Vetus 4 kW diesel generator of 2001 (47 hours), electric circuit: 12V/220v, batteries: 2x 120 Ah of 1998 + 2x 180 ah + 1x 120 ah (fridge), shore power with earth leakage breaker, Diem battery charger of 40 ah, Vetus 4 kVa inverter, 1x electric + 1x manual bilge pump.
Sestrel Moore compass, Navman depth sounder, Navico 200 log (needs attention), Navico 200 windset, Sailor VHF (no Atis), Raytheon 24 miles radar, Vetus autopilot, Garmin GPS, Navplotter 100, Nasa navtex, receiver, stereo with cassette.
Electric windlass with remote control, anchor + one spare anchor, 50 m. anchor chain, deck wash pump, RFD 6 persons life raft (last inspection 11-6-2003 / must be inspected), radar reflector, two safety buoys, search light, 2x clear view, 2x Vetus gas detector, winter cover, clock and barometer, cockpit table.
Cutter ketch rigged, wood/epoxy masts with mast steps, fittings: s/s and aluminium, Profurl headsail furling system, Dacron brown main sail, furling genoa (1994), mizzen and a self tacking jib (no boom), Meisner winches: 2x ST 25-44A, mast lowering system (partly present).
