General
GRP sailing yacht Island Packet 440, built in 2006 by Island Packet Yachts in Florida - USA (delivery to her present owner has not yet taken place - launched in January 2007), design by Bob Johnson, N.A., dim.: Loa 13,94 m (Lwl 11,60 m) x 4,37 m x 1,52 m, mast above DWL 18,89 m, one piece, hand laminated, solid fibre glass hull and keel, gentle keel entry; minimizes snags and impacts. Exclusive Full Foil Keel: for unrivalled combination of performance, safety, control and comfort, 10 years guarantee from wharf on osmoses and delimitation. Protected propeller and rudder: minimizes fouling and impact damage. Fuel capacity: 606 litres, fresh water capacity: 985 litres, holding tank with electric pump: 208 litres, displacement: 14,514 tonnes, ballast 5,443 tonnes, wheel steering.
Saloon + two cabins, 4 (+2) berths. Open and spacious saloon with full length settees both to port and to starboard, dinning table folds up when not in use, settee pulls out to double berth, teak floor and Ultraleather on the cushions in saloon. Gourmet galley featuring U-shape design, ample storage, Frigoboat fridge/freezer, Force-10 stove with oven and microwave. Hot water through boiler (40 litres). Navigator centre has wide bench seat with dedicated compartment, inlaid table with storage tray and abundant space for electronics. Aft stateroom with large island berth, inner-spring mattress and private access to head. Forward stateroom with large island berth, inner spring mattress, private head, dressing chair and exceptional storage. Both heads feature vanities with solid acrylic countertop, separate shower with seat, folding acrylic door and standard VacuFlush toilet.
Yanmar 75 hp diesel engine, Sidepower 6 hp bowthruster with joystick on pedestal, Maspower 8 kW (1.800 rpm) generator, three bladed propeller, electric circuit: 12V/230V, five 12V batteries, battery charger - 60 amp.
