Bavaria 38 Ocean "Morning Sun", launched in April 2000, built by Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH in Germany, sail number: 137, dim.: Loa 11,90 m (Lwl 9,95 m) x 3,95 m x 1,95 m, headway: 16,95 m, J&J Design, CE: A, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, single glass windows in aluminium framing, Gebo hatches, round bilged hull, fin keel, displacement: approx. 8,2 tonnes, ballast: approx. 2,9 tonnes (lead), fuel tank: approx. 225 litres, fresh water tanks: approx. 1x 225 litres + 1x 170 litres, streamlined rudder with fore balance, rudder stock with self-adjusting pendulum bearings, wheel steering on Whitlock pedestal, incl. leather and wheelcover, emergency tiller.

Sloop rig 9/10, Seldén aluminium mast, Seldén stoway system, Seldén Furlex headsail furling, Elvström furling mainsail: 31.5 m2 + furling genoa 40,7 m2 + balloon jib (needs some repair), Seldén Rodkick boomvang, backstay adjuster, Harken self tailing two speed halyard and genoa winches: 2x ST44 + 2x ST40, spinnaker pole.
