Bavaria 38 Ocean "Morning Sun", launched in April 2000, built by Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH in Germany, sail number: 137, dim.: Loa 11,90 m (Lwl 9,95 m) x 3,95 m x 1,95 m, headway: 16,95 m, J&J Design, CE: A, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, single glass windows in aluminium framing, Gebo hatches, round bilged hull, fin keel, displacement: approx. 8,2 tonnes, ballast: approx. 2,9 tonnes (lead), fuel tank: approx. 225 litres, fresh water tanks: approx. 1x 225 litres + 1x 170 litres, streamlined rudder with fore balance, rudder stock with self-adjusting pendulum bearings, wheel steering on Whitlock pedestal, incl. leather and wheelcover, emergency tiller.
Classic mahogany interior, saloon + large owners cabin and front cabin, 4 (+2) berths, headroom saloon: approx. 1,92 m, marine head with easy-care synthetic surfaces, Jabsco manual pump toilet and shower, Webasto Air Top heating, electric water pressure system, galley with double s/s sinks, Coolmatic fridge 12V and cooker with two burners and oven - half cardanic.
