“Diotima” is one of the earliest aluminium yachts built by the renowned Royal Huisman Shipyard in Vollenhove, a yard celebrated worldwide for its exceptional craftsmanship and uncompromising build quality. Designed by the legendary Einar Ohlson, her construction began in 1969, and she was launched in 1970. Originally christened "Beth A Bell", she was later renamed "Diotima". Her current German owner has spared no expense in bringing this remarkable yacht to her present immaculate condition. Restored and maintained with meticulous care-one might even say with typical German precision. "Diotima" combines classic beauty with the engineering excellence for which Royal Huisman is renowned. A yacht with genuine pedigree, superb sailing characteristics, and just the right amount of personality, "Diotima" is ready to delight her next owner. She has already outlasted countless fashion trends, several generations of electronics, and probably a few New Year's resolutions-proof that true quality never goes out of style.
