Algemeen

GRP sailing yacht Bavaria 40-2 "Amplitude", launched in 2001, built in 2000 by Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH in Germany, J&J Design, CE class: A. Dim.: Loa 12,48 m (Lwl 10,95 m) x 3,99 m x 1,95 m, headway: 17,50 (incl. antenna). GRP hull, superstructure and deck, anti-slip on deck, teak on cockpit floor and cockpit benches, windows in aluminium framing Round bilged white hull with blue striping, fin keel with bulb, balanced spade rudder. Displacement: 7,9 tonnes, ballast: 2,85 tonnes (cast iron). Fuel tank capacity: 150 litres (polyethylene) tank, fresh water tank capacity: 2x 150 litres (polyethylene tanks, small repair needed), sump tank: no. Whitlock mechanical wheel steering, steering wheel leather covered + cover, emergency tiller.

Classic mahogany interior, saloon, front and aft cabin, 4 (+1) berths. Pressurized water system, hot water boiler: 20 litres - running on 220v/engine. Webasto 3500 Airtop diesel ducted hot air heating, Cosy saloon with U-shaped settee on starboard side and two comfortable chairs on portside, headroom: approx. 1,95 m L-shaped galley with an Eno two burner gas stove with oven, Isotherm 12V top-loading fridge. Large variety of cupboards and stowage space. Forward: owners cabin with cupboards, marine head with wash basin and toilet. Aft: Guest cabin with double berth, marine head with wash basin, toilet and shower (with drain pump).

Volvo Penta MD2030D 29 hp (21kW) diesel engine - installed in 2000, approx. 920 running hours (hour counter defect), indirect cooling system, Volvo Penta Saildrive (seal change due). Volvo Penta three bladed folding propeller, three bladed fixed propeller as spare. Electric system: 12V/220V, shore power. Batteries: 1x start battery of 2008 + 2x service batteries of 135 amp of 2008. Mastervolt automatic battery charger. Electric and manual bilge pump.

Suunto compass on pedestal (with air bubble), Raymarine ST60 log and echo sounder, Raymarine ST60 wind set, Skanti Leisure VHF with Atis and cockpit speaker, Raymarine RN300 GPS-plotter (must be checked), stereo with CD player.

Dark blue sprayhood and cockpit cover, cockpit cushions, cockpit table, life buoy, electric anchor winch with CQR anchor and approx. 50 m chain, bathing platform, boarding ladder, deck shower (hot/cold water), clock, barometer, radar reflector, fenders and warps etc.

Sloop-rigged, Seldén aluminium double spreader mast, stainless steel standing rig, Furlex genoa furler. Elvström High Performance sails: full battened tri-radial main with Rutgersson roller beared batten-cars 37m2 tri-radial furling genoa with foam strips 41m2. Dark blue cover for main and genoa, Lazy Jacks, one-line quick reef for main, tackle boom vang and backstay adjuster. Harken winches: 2x 44CST sheet winches, 2x 40CST halyard winches. Sheet-halyards lead aft into cockpit for easy handling.
