A beautiful example of the decksaloon design from the famous dutch designer Dick Koopmans. "Derwent " was designed with in mind a couple living on board with an occasional guest. Her centreboard together with her dockhouse make extended use both in time and in place very easy.

Aluminium sailingyacht, Koopmans 46 deckhouse " Derwent", built in 1995/1996 delivered and rigged in 1997, dimensions: 14.05 (lwl 11.00) x 3.95 x 1.30/2.70 meter, headway approx. 20 meter, designed by Dick Koopmans Sr., hull built in 1995 by Folmer in Rijs (Holland), interior finished in 1996 by Wilhelmina in Zaandam (1996), blue aluminium hull with an anti skid grey painted aluminium deck and an off white aluminium superstructure, heavy high gloss varnished footrail, 9 single glass perspex windows in the superstructure and 2 small and 2 large Lewmar opening deckhatches in the deck, V- haped hull with a manual hydraulic operated centreboard, displacement approx. 16 tons, ballast approx 7.3 tons of lead, 1x 700 liters hull-integrated aluminium fueltank with a manual filled 60 liter aluminium daytank, 2x 350 liter aluminium hull-integrated watertanks, 1x aluminium 100 liter black watertank, Whitlock hydraulic wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior with 2 cabins each with 2 single berths plus 1 in the saloon makes 5 berths possible, deckhouse and lower saloon, headway in the aft cabin approx. 1.85 m, headway in the deckhouse approx. 1.95 m, headway in the lower saloon approx 2.10 m, headway in the forecabin approx. 1.95 m, forecabin 1x manual toilet, 1x shower, Webasto heating, galley, electr. water pressure system, hot water system via 220 Volt and via engine, Force 10 4-burner gasstove with oven, Fortress refrigerator.
