Dufour 38 Classic ''Nid de Coucou'', built in 1999 first launched in March 2000 by Dufour Yachts France, dim.: 11.98 (lwl 9.80 m) x 3.85 m x 1.90 m, J & J Design, headway approx. 16.20 m, CE category: A, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, round-bilged white hull with blue striping, fin keel, displacement approx. 6,55 tonnes, ballast approx. 2,1 tonnes (lead), fuel tank approx. 160 litres (polythene), fresh water tank approx. 1 x 180 litres + 1 x 160 litres (polythene), Whitlock wheel steering, emergency tiller.
Classic mahogany interior, saloon and two cabins and one big lockerroom, standing hight in the saloon approx. 1,85 m, 4 berths + 1 berth in the saloon, heads with shower and an under water toilet, galley with double sink and corian workingtops, crockery, electric water pressure system, hot water through boiler (engine/220V), ENO 2-burner gas stove with oven, 12V refrigerator (capacity 150 litres), forward double berth: length 2 m, aft one double berth: length 1.90 m, Webasto AT 5000 hot air heating system.
Volvo Penta MD 2040, 40 hp (29 kW) diesel engine, installed in 1999, (approx. 500 enginehours) indirect cooling system, Volvo Penta Saildrive, 2-bladed maxprop propeller, 1 x manual / 1 x electric bilge pumps, 12/220 Volt electrical system, 4x 105 Ah. batteries (2005), shore power, 25 amp automatic battery charger and invertor (both by Mastervolt and installed in 2004, Mastervolt battery monitor at charttable, extra alternator on engine.
