GRP sailing yacht Tayana Vancouver 42, built in 1982, building number 54, dim.: 13,36 (10,06) x 3,81 x 1,90 m, headway approx. 19 m, built by TaYang Yachtbuilding in Taiwan, designed by Bob Harris from Canada, GRP semi long keel s-shaped canoestern hull, teak deck on a sandwiche GRP, GRP superstructure, lots op portholes in the hull all with seperate fly screens, off white hull with red striping, displacement approx. 18 tonnes, approx 7 tons ballast 50% lead and 50% cast iron keel, fuel capacity approx. 570 ltr. in 3 tanks, 1x 173 ltr., 1x 147 ltr. and 1x 250 ltr. engine, additional 50 ltr. fuel daytank for the generator and the heater, water capacity approx. 600 ltr. in 2 stainles steel tanks, sump capacity approx. 100 ltr. in GRP tank with deck discharge, hydraulic steering, emergency tiller.

Classic massive teak interior, 2 cabins with saloon, aft cabin with large double and seperate head with shower, electric toilet and washbowl, port passageway leading aft with double "hurricane berths", foreward is an office that can be used for 2 to sleep on to pipe berths, total possible berths is 8 but the boat is designed for just 2 with an occasional visitor. Starboard foreward is a head with manual toilet, a washbowl and the possibillity to make a shower, large saloon with to port a U-sofa with table to be converted in a double and to starboard the double charttable.
