GRP sailingyacht Contest 40S "Zeemuis", launched Spring 1995, building number 019, built by Conyplex B.V. - Netherlands, dim.: Loa 12.00 m (Lwl 10.00 m) x 3.85 m x 1.70 m, headway: 18,50 m without antenna, design by Dick Zaal, built to Lloyds specifications, Lloyds Hull Construction Certificate, GRP hull, deck and superstructure, teak decks, teak hand grips on coach roof, rudder in skeg, Plexi glass windows in aluminium framing, Gebo hatches, mosquito screens, round bilged hull, shallow wing keel, displacement: 11 tonnes, ballast: 4.8 tonnes, fuel tank: 350 ltrs (s.s.), fuel level indicator, freshwater tank: 500 ltrs (s.s.), fresh water level indicator, sump tank: approx. 40 litres (s.s.) with deck connection and natural drop out, Whitlock mechanical wheel steering with cockpit table, emergency tiller.

Classic teak interior, saloon + two cabins, 4 (+2) berths, skylights in each cabin, Webasto heating - water heather DBW 46 (heater replaced 2009) with heat exchangers that blow hot air. Owners cabin with a large double centerline berth aft, standing room and stowage. Guest cabin with double berth forward, useful stowage shelves. Two heads with each a wash bowl, shower and toilet (aft toilet: sump tank / forward toilet: outside). Pressurized water system by hydrofor, hot water trough boiler (220V and Webasto waterheater), extra foot pump in galley. U-shaped galley with double s.s. sinks, Frigomatic fridge with a small freeze compartment, gimbaled three burner gas stove with oven - thermal saved - halve cardanic, two gas bottles in separate locker with outboard drainage. Original Contest crockery (not fully complete) JVC stereo with CD player, speakers in- and outside, Grundig TV in aft cabin.
