Contest 55 CS, built in 2004 by Contest Yachts in Holland, designed by Doug Peterson, LOA 16.75m (54'9), beam 4.65m (15'3), draft 1.95 m (7'5), GRP hull and superstructure, teak decks, wing keel, displacement 25.9 tons, 1,000 litres (220 Imp gallons) fuel capacity in one stainless steel tank under saloon floorboards in centre, 1,000 litres (220 Imp gallons) water capacity in two PVC tanks under saloon floorboards, one on either side of fuel tank, 60 litre (13.2 Imp gallons) PVC black water tank for each toilet.
Accommodation for six persons in three double cabins, double bedded owner's cabin aft with queen-size bed and ensuite wc/showerroom, double bedded VIP guest cabin forward with ensuite wc/showerroom, upper and lower bedded guest cabin in passage. Very spacious and airy saloon with seating for up to 8 persons.
