Bowman 40, hull built in 1992 in the UK, finished and launched in Holland in 1993, designed by Chuck Paine of CW Paine Yacht Design Inc., LOA 12.40m (40'7), beam 3.85m (12'6), draft 1.50m (4'9), headway approx. 17.5m (57'4), GRP hull and superstructure, white Awlgrip coated hull, Coppercoat antifouling, teak decks, Henry Scheel keel, displacement 8.62 kg, ballast approx. 3.95 kg (lead), fuel capacity approx. 200 litres (44 Imp gallons) in one aluminium tank, water capacity 400 litres (88 Imp gallons) in two stainless steel tanks, sump tank capacity 50 litres (11 Imp gallons) in one aluminium tank, holding tank (unused), all waste water is collected in internal sump tank thus the hull has only 2 below waterline seacocks for additional safety, Edson wheel with cable steering.
