GRP sailing yacht Contest 34 ''Lechajem'', built in 1979 by Conyplex in Medemblik - Holland, hull number: 079, dim.: Loa 10.36 m (Lwl 8.41m ) x 3.40 m x 1.75 m, headway: approx. 16,50 m, design by Dick Zaal, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck renewed in 1993, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, round bilged hull, fin keel, rudder in skeg, displacement: approx. 7.6 tonnes, ballast: 3.2 tonnes (cast iron), fuel tank: 150 ltrs (s/s), fresh water tanks: 2x 120 ltrs (s/s '94), mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Classic mahogany interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 5 (+2) berths, headroom saloon: approx. 2.00 m, marine head with wash bowl, shower and a maual u.w.toilet, Webasto diesel ducted air heating ('98), electric waterpressure system, galley with sink, Rinnai geyser hot water (gas), Eno three burner gas stove with oven and a fridge (220V)
Mitsubishi S4L2 37 hp (27kW) diesel engine - installed in 1999, indirect cooling system, mechanical gearbox, s/s propellershaft, two bladed fixed propeller ('99), consumption: approx. 3 ltr/hr, cruising speed approx. 6.5 knots, 1x manual bilgepump, electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries: 3x 108 amp. ('93/'00), shore power and battery charger (recent).

Sloop rigged, Z-Spars aluminium double spreader mast, s/s standing rig, Schaeffer headsail furling system, complete rig professionally renewed in 1995 with a taller mast for better sail performance, sails: full battened main sail (Diamond '95) and genoa 130% (UK Sails '96), covers for main and genoa, slab reefing for main, tackle boomvang, mechanical backstay adjuster, 2x Enkes 25ST sheet winches, 2x Barlow 19CST sheet winches, 3x Arco ST halyard winches, spi-pole.
