Contest 40-42S "Samantha", built in 1997 by Conyplex in Medemblik - Holland, hull number 30, dim.: Loa 12,55 m (Lwl 10,50 m) x 3,85 m x 1,70 m, headway: 18,90 m, design by Dick Zaal, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, round bilged hull, wing keel, displacement: 11 tonnes, ballast: 4,8 tonnes, fuel tank: approx. 335 litres s/s, fresh water tank: approx. 444 litres s/s, sump tank: 45 litres, Whitlock hydraulic wheel steering, cover for pedestal, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, saloon + large owners cabin + front cabin, 4 (+2) berths, headroom: 1,95/1,80 m, two heads with own Jabsco manual under water toilets, wash basin and shower, Webasto heating, hot water through boiler, electric water system, galley with Frigomatic fridge + small freeze compartment, two burner gas stove with oven, crockery.
