Bavaria 34 "Birdie", built in 1999 by Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH in Germany, dim.: Loa 10,80 m (Lwl 8,45 m) x 3,48 m x 1,35 m, J & J design, GRP hull, deck and superstructure, teak deck, Lewmar Plexi glass windows in aluminium framing, Gebo hatches, round bilged hull, bulbkeel, displacement: 4,5 tonnes, ballast: approx. 1,4 tonnes, fuel tank: 150 litres (stainless steel), fresh water tank: 90 litres (stainless steel), sump tank, wheel steering (with leather) and emergency tiller.
Mahogany interior, saloon + front and one aft cabin, headroom: approx. 1,91 m, toiletroom with wash bowl and a Par manual under water toilet (in waste tank or just outside), shower on aft deck with warm and cold water, Webasto heating, hot water through boiler (220V/engine), galley with sink, Coolmatic fridge and a two burner gas stove with oven.
Volvo Penta MD2030C BT 29 hp diesel engine of 1999, Volvo gearbox, Morse engine control system, intercooling system, consumption approx. 1 litre per hour, cruising speed: 5,5 knots - consumption approx. 1 litre per hour, maximum speed: 6,5 knots - consumption approx. 2 litres per hour, fixed three bladed propeller, Saildrive, fire extinguishers, electric and manual bilge pump, electric circuit: 12v/220v, three batteries, shore power with earth leakage breaker, Mastervolt 100 12/25 battery charger.
