GRP sailing yacht Contest 48CS "Amalia", built in 1999 by Conyplex in Medemblik - Holland, hull nr. : 48128, design by Dick Zaal and Georg Nissen, Contest yachts are delivered with Lloyd´s Certificate of Hull construction and are built according to the CE directive. CE:A, dim.: Loa 14,75 m (Lwl 12,40 m) x 4,25 m x 1,80 m, wing keel with bilge and electric bilge pump, rudder in skeg, headway: approx. 21,30 m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, GRP hull in AWL Grip Flag Blue, Perspex windows in aluminium frames, displacement ± 18,3 tonnes, ballast ± 6,5 tonnes, fuel capacity: 600 litres, fresh water capacity: 2x 375 litres (stainless steel tanks), waste water tank in forepart, Whitlock steering with quick release, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, saloon with three cabin layout giving a total of 6 berths. Headroom in saloon and pantry: 1,98 m. Forward a quest cabin with a double V-berth with ample storage above aft and under the bed. Starboard forward a quest cabin with two singles one over the other and storage under the bed, port forward the quest head with also a separate shower, worktop with wash bowl and a manual under water toilet. In the aft the large owners cabin with lots of storage, a queen size central bed and ensuite head with separate shower, a wash top with integrated wash bowl, two large lockers and an electric toilet. To starboard in the saloon is the large U- shaped sofa and opposite to port the navigator seat facing forward. Aft of the navigators station in the passageway is the large pantry with Corian dresser, double sink stainless steel, 3 drawer refrigerator wit freezing unit, Force-10 three burner stove with oven, microwave, electric water pressure system with hydrofoor, foot pump, bilge pump, various 220V plugs. and a lot of lockers.
