GRP sailingyacht Wauquiez 47 Pilot Saloon "Silver Shadow", built in 2006 by Chantier Wauquiez, France, dim.: 14,33 (lwl 12,75) x 4,61 x 1,80 mtrs, design by Berrett/Racoupeau, CE Class A certificate, headway; 21,5 mtrs, grp hull, deck and superstructure, teakdecks and teak in cockpit, stainless steel rubbingstrake, roundbilged hull, Scheel type shallow draft fin keel, balanced spade rudder, displacement: 15 tonnes, ballast: 4 tonnes (lead), fueltank: 395 ltrs (polythelene), freshwatertanks: 650+200 ltrs (polythelene/s.s.), sumptanks: 2 x (polythelene), twin mechanical wheelsteering with leather covered destroyer type steeringwheels, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior with modern accents, 3 cabins with decksaloon, 6(+1) berths, decksaloon with panoramic view and dinette, harmonica curtains in decksaloon, headroom: 2 mtrs, rollerblinds for deckhatches, diesel ducted hot air heating, owners cabin aft with centreline double berth with ensuite shower-toilet-washbasin, 2 x guestcabin forward with ensuite shower-toilet-washbasin. Sloop-cutter rigged, Sparcraft aluminium double spreader stoway mast with s.s. standing rigging, Facnor genoa furler, Facnor cutter-staysail furler, 3 sails: furling main / furling genoa (with UV strip) / furling cutter-staysail (with UV strip), mechanical boomvang, 2 x Harken 53EST electric sheetwinches, 2 x Harken 44EST halyard winches. Through the use of electric winches and stowaysails this Wauquiez is very easy and safe to handle.
