Grand Soleil 50, built in 2007 by Cantieri del Pardo in Italy, LOA 14.90m (48'9), LWL 13.20m (43'3), beam 4.56m (15'), draft 2.30m (7'5), design by Rolf Vrolijk, hull and deck in sandwich construction of vinylester and polyester resin and biaxial E-glass fabric, hull bottom epoxy treated, teak laid decks, teak toerail, six opening hatches for light and ventilation, opening portholes in galley, saloon, aft toilets, chart table and aft cabins, displacement approx. 14 tons, ballast approx. 4,3 tonnes (lead keel), 290 litres (63.9 Imp gallons) fuel capacity, 460 litres (101 Imp gallons) water capacity in rigid polyethylene tanks, 65 litres (14.3 Imp gallons) holding tank capacity with electric exhaust pump, electric water level indicator, leather covered twin steering wheels, mechanical steering system, built to European CE-certification Category A Ocean.
