If there ever was a yacht, designed by the famous Dick Koopmans Sr. that appealed to many yachtsman, the 1044 by Victoire is certainly one of the contenders. Started out as the 34 this design has been refined over the years. Very stable and well built, the Victoire 1044 is a very safe family cruising yacht. This Victoire has been kept in good condition and received a lot of new equipment (including engine and sails) in recent years.

GRP sailingyacht Victoire 1044 "Gruella", built in 1989 by Victoire Jachtbouw, The Netherlands, dim.: 10,44 (lwl 8,35) x 3,24 x 1,87 mtr, headway approx. 15 mtr, design by Dick Koopmans Sr., grp hull, deck and superstructure, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, roundbilged hull (hull is treated with epoxy in 2007), fin keel, rudder in skeg, displacement: 5,5 tonnes, ballast: 2,7 tonnes (cast iron), fueltank: 1 x 60 ltrs (s.s.), freshwatertank: 2 x 75 ltrs (s.s.), tiller steering with extension.

Classic teak interior (proffesionall varnished 2008), 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, upholstery (2008), headroom 1.85 mtr, 1 x u.w.toilet (2008), Wallas 2400 ducted air heating (petroleum), galley; footpump waterpressure system, Force 10 three burner gasstove with oven (1999), Waeco 12V fridge.

Volvo Penta MD2030 29 hp (21kW) diesel, installed 2003, aprpox. 230 runninghours (engine hours counter not working), indirect coolingsystem, Volvo Penta Saildrive (rubber flenche 2003), two blade propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 6 knots, consumption approx. 3 ltr/hr, manual bilgepump, 12/220v electrical system, 4 x 108 amp batteries (2002), shorepower, Mastervolt 40amp automatic batterycharger.
