"Green Saga" is a 40 foot Saltram Saga double-ended sailing yacht. Built in 1980 in England to a very high standard. She's a perfect long distance blue water cruiser. GRP sailing yacht Saltram Saga 40 "Green Saga", built in 1980 by K.R. Skentelbery & Bowen (GB), design by Allan Pape, dim.: 12,56 m x 3,85 m x 2,00 m, GRP hull and superstructure, deck: plywood + teak deck, Awl grip paint system (green), anti-fouling 2006, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, S-shaped hull, long keel, displacement: 14,5 tonnes, ballast: 5 tonnes (lead), fuel tank (stainless steel): approx. 750 litres (tank must be checked), fresh water tanks (stainless steel): approx. 2x 175 litres, helm steering, Aries wind vane.

Classic teak interior, saloon + two cabins + pilot berth, total 5 (+2) berths, headway saloon: approx. 1,90 m, upholstery recently renewed, marine head with shower and a Blakes vacuum toilet. Galley with double sink, Force-10 four burner gas stove with oven, Isotherm 3500 fridge, cutlery, gas detector (defect), AGA central heating (gas), electric water pressure system (+ spare pump), hot water though boiler (runs on engine and 220V), foot pump for fresh and salt water.

Mercedes OM 636 - 40 hp diesel engine of 1980, intercooling, mechanical engine control, Hurth mechanical gearbox 1:3 (2004), propeller shaft stainless steel (2006), Gori three bladed propeller (stainless steel), Henderson bilge pump + bilge pump on the engine, electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries of 2004: 3x Trojan deep cycle 140 amp. + one start battery (2007), dynamo 50 amp (2004), shore power with earth leakage breaker, Sterling 50 amp. automatic battery charger, Proosten Motormate invertor of 300W, Yamaha portable generator, 2x solar panel of 55W (2005), Ruthland wind generator (2005), amp/hour gauge (2005).

Sunbrella (2006), 2x sun awning, cockpit table, Bombard 8 persons life raft (2004 - must be inspected), two self inflating life jackets, 2x rescue buoys, 2x safety lines, SL555 manual anchor winch, 2x alu. Danforth 45 lbs CQR anchors + 1x Herreshof alu. anchor, 60 m anchor chain, boarding ladder (wood), fenders and warps, barograph, clock and barometer, radar reflector. Further on this yacht is overloaded with spare parts and there is a technical dairy of the last four years available.

Cutter rig, Proctor aluminium mast with mast steps, mast length: 13,5 m, boom vang (6:1), standing rig stainless steel (8 mm - 1x19 - 2005), double backstays (7mm), De Vries main sail (back leech must be checked), cutter jib, yankee, jib 100% (Dacron), jib 100% (spinnaker fabric), storm sails: main sail + try sail, cover main sail recent replaced.
